The Syria Map Tracker has been developed to capture key socio-economic information on the Syrian Arab Republic and the status of Syrian cities. The Tracker enables users to stay informed about area-specific issues within Syria and about different potential challenges governorates and cities are facing. The Tracker provides information about developments and key indicators, allowing policymakers, donors, decision-makers, experts on Syria, and United Nations agencies to make informed decisions and conduct analysis regarding Syria. This interactive map is also an accessible resource for users who are not deeply familiar with the Syrian context. The data displayed on the Tracker is collected using key studies and reports developed by the National Agenda for the Future of Syria (NAFS) programme and other United Nations agencies, as well as available official data from the Government of Syria (GoS). We welcome clarifications, corrections and suggestions in order to improve this service. We are keen to connect with partners and relevant experts to augment available data. Please send your feedback and input to (escwa-nafs@un.org).
